Combined with their unflinching support for Bush's War, why would any real grown up take this Party seriously anymore?
PS: Since last night, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) has proposed (not introduced legislation, mind you) that Congress vote to repeal the President's authority to go to War with Iraq. While this might make good on her failure to vote against that authorization the first time around, it would go against precedent (and probably end up in court), while defunding the War was actually how we got out of Somalia.
All this being said, I'll give Sen. Clinton the benefit of the doubt. If this is just an attempt to best John Edwards for his television ad and nothing more, it's mere following once again. But if she fights like hell and makes it a reality, I'll call her a leader.

I watched as much of the debate as I could stand last night & am heartbroken that significant numbers of citizens of this country see any of these guys as presidential material. What a terrible joke.

I saw this. This is just guys like us voting for all the losers and against all the frontrunners.
Btw: Mitt Rommney is literally crazy (A Mormon whose favorite book is by L.Ron Hubbard, and who - now that he's out of Massachusetts - opposes abortion because it'll lead to human cloning.) He even makes Rudy look like less of a madman.
I'm kinda hoping Mitt gets the nomination because once people hear him every day for 6 months, he won't pull more than 25% on election day.

ps: if your blood pressure's a little low today, you may want to check out the transcript of David Broder's webchat today. It's hard to imagine what planet he lives on.
