Whatever happened to the concept of "innocent until proven guilty?" Isn't our entire legal system built upon that principle? Yet, people who criticize democrats for "coddling terrorists" because they disagree with the Republican "anti-terrorist" bill are assuming that everyone accused of being a terrorist is a terrorist, regardless of proof of law. Let's not confuse the issue -- protecting our rights to a fair legal system isn't coddling anyone, innocent or guilty.
It's all about power for these criminals at the top and their suck-up enablers.
I'm not going to hold it against the Dems that, with their minority, they couldn't defeat or filibuster this one, particularly knowing how the GOP want to use it as a hammer against them. I just want to do my best to make sure it doesn't stick against them, like 4 years ago with the Homeland Security bill etc.
