Just read the Rolling Stones article on Repub's conspiracy during the 04 election. Coincidently, I just watched pilots of two network dramas scheduled to air in the fall. Not surpisingly, both involved conspiracies. So, I find it fascinating (and frustrating) that networks are willing to fictionalize conspiracies, but lack the balls to report on what is clearly a very real, and very dangerous, one.
We humans always use fiction to get at, say, inconvenient truths. Take Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" which did McCarthyism during the McCarthy Era by doing the Salem witch trials.
