Hey, Big Spender

Anytime anyone tells you that we can't cut our military budget and still keep our nation safe, just refer them here:

At $607 billion per year we're 41.5% of the world's total military expenditure. At #2: China, with 5.8%.

No wonder we're the world's policeman. We're paying for it.

interesting chart, it totally tells the whole story.

Wikipedia on U.S. Military Budget

Military spending is a good thing. Otherwise you cut it, now Mr. Obama and company has to make up other names, instead of unemployed, to call these now jobless soldiers which are "policing the world". In addition to defense contractors, and big corporation that doesn't no have the budgets because the U.S. isn't buying / paying for R&D on special projects.

Maybe the U.S. Military should be more Travian like, invade a country take their resources. :p I'm sure you left leaners would really go for that.

And God forbid there was another attack, when we do cut the military budget, the hammer would just fall. I'm not sure a dem could hold a political seat for the next 30 years.

Wow it's late and I need to proofread my comments before I hit publish. Netter I wish I had your passion that would inspire me to write in my own blog.

I need to take a creative writing / journalism class within the near future. Let's do lunch soon.
