Death

This has to be the weirdest, most disconcerting week in America in years. And that's saying a lot.

- Shithead crazy Virginia Tech killer has time between massacres to videotape himself and send the evil images to NBC. And guess what, there were ample early warning signs.

- On a day when our nation grieves for the 32 students, 171 Iraqi citizens are massacred by suicide bombs.

- The George W. Bush Supreme Court delivers their first great gift to the Religious Right constituency and reverses lower courts' well-written opinions to ban, 5-4, a form of abortion previously between a woman and her doctor. Props to Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) for immediately explaining in very clear terms why this decision is a dangerous disgrace.

- Back to the big issue, the most human beings being slaughtered on a daily basis that we actually have the ability to affect, has anyone seen a recent photo of Nancy Pelosi as distraught as this, albeit with an admirable resolve, the resolve of someone who knows how hard this unfortunate man who is our President will make the road ahead.

And Harry, such resolve.

1) I assume you heard that Sen. Doubletalk blew a gasket again (his singing about Iran). My guess is his donors completely vanish by Labor Day.

2) Gonzales so far sounds like a guy i'd feel comfortable hiring to do...um...nothing.

(ps: "Clippy" yesterday was hilarious.)

McCain will be leaking support like a sieve. Giuliani and Romney will be wan competition for each other. Fred Thompson will swoop in and barely raise blood pressure. Huckabee just isn't next in line at all, as much as I think he'd be their best shot.

GOP 2008 candidate for President: Jeb Bush.

You read it here first.

I thought about this, but there's no percentage in it for Jebbie -- the treasury & army are busted, taxes will have to be raised, the economy's gonna go bust, the Senate *may* go veto proof, etc. And, of course, he'll be carrying the anchor of his idiot brother around his neck.

More likely, Jebbie will look to see who his most likely competition is in 2012 (prob Romney), and promote that guy in 2008 (to get destroyed).

Or he'll promote the guy he most dislikes right now, which would prob be McCain.

To be sure, the VT murders are abominable. The question is...Why isn't the American public up in arms over all the deaths in Iraq (both Iraq's citizens and American soldiers}that "King George" (GWB)is responsible for? Times 32 by thousands and get some perspective on the issue! If GWB has his way, the next thing on his agenda will be reinstituting the draft. GWB will be directly responsible for destroying many more students lives than were taken at VT. Open your eyes, America, and see the real massacre going on right under your noses! Can you spell I-M-P-E-A-C-H?
